About the Opportunity
Ascende has been retained by a premier regional outpatient care network operating across the Midwest to identify an operational leader. The Director of Clinical Operations oversees administrative, patient-centric, and clinical delivery standards across six multi-specialty centers.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily clinical operations across 6 regional centers, supervising clinic practice managers and over 120 clinical staff.
- Ensure complete alignment with HIPAA, state healthcare licensing boards, OSHA, and Joint Commission accreditation standards.
- Optimize patient throughput, appointment scheduling workflows, and electronic health record (Epic) standardization.
- Oversee annual departmental budgeting, clinical equipment capital expenditures, and physician staffing ratios.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Nursing (MSN), or MBA.
- 5+ years in clinical leadership overseeing multi-site outpatient or ambulatory surgery clinics.
- Proven success leading clinical quality improvement initiatives and staff retention programs.
Preferred Experience
- RN license in good standing in the State of Illinois.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt in Healthcare.
